IRIS: VISIONARY

For Jim Rugg's Story Visualized in Fall 2015, the midterm assignment was a biography.

I chose to do my project on Iris Apfel, ageless fashion icon and general badass lady.

Watercolor portraits and hand lettering in ink, with an article based on her momentous exhibit “Rara Avis” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Most of my research came from the documentary Iris.
