I enjoy sending (and receiving) what is now called "snail mail". I love to create individual, extremely personal, illustrated greeting cards for family and friends.

Most of the time I just use pen and ink on standard card stock for the cards themselves, and I will often also use metallic or colored pens, complicated addressing, and bright envelopes to really pique the mail carriers' interest (or ire, I don't know). Some of these "cards" take advantage of our digital age and are photos that were constructed and shared via text or social media.
